OTCBB is a quotation medium that displays real-time quotes, recent transaction prices, and trading volumes of OTC listed stocks.
OTCBB securities include domestic, regional, and foreign officially issued certificates, documents, and US entrusted receipts.
OTCBB is a quotation medium provided to contracted members, not a one-time public offering service, and should not be confused with NASDAQ or the US stock exchange market
OTCBB securities are traded by a committee of market makers and quoted and established through a highly complex, closed computer network. All of this is achieved through Nasdaq workstations. The Nasdaq stock market has no business connection with issuers on the OTCBB market, and these companies have no documentation or reporting requirements with Nasdaq Stock Market Corporation or the National Association of Securities Dealers.
