The latest prices of Hong Kong stocks are data directly provided by the exchange, and there are different calculation rules at different stages.
1. Opening bidding stage
1.1 If there is a reference equilibrium price, the current price=reference equilibrium price (specified by the exchange)
If there is no reference equilibrium price, it is equal to yesterday's price
2. Continuous trading session
2.1 If there are individual transactions in the stock on the same day, they shall be calculated as follows:
2.1.1 If the price of buying a first tier is greater than the last transaction price, then the current price=the price of buying a first tier
2.1.2 If the selling price is less than the last transaction price, then the current price is equal to the selling price
2.1.3 Other situations, current price=last transaction price
2.2 If the security is not executed on a transaction by transaction basis on the same day, it shall be calculated as follows:
2.2.1 If the purchase price is higher than yesterday's price, the current price equals the purchase price
2.2.2 If the selling price is lower than yesterday's closing price, the current price is equal to the selling price
2.2.3 Other situations Current price=Yesterday's received price
3. Closing bidding stage
3.1 If there is a reference equilibrium price, the current price=reference equilibrium price (specified by the exchange)
3.2 If there is no reference equilibrium price, the current price=bidding reference price (specified by the exchange)
Note: Relatively inactive bull/bear contracts may also be affected by the buying and selling prices of one tier, resulting in a current price.
