    What is portfolio fee?
    Hong Kong Clearing provides custody and agency services to hold Shanghai Stock Connect/Shenzhen Stock Connect stocks on behalf of its central clearing system participants, and charges a "securities portfolio fee" for this.
    The securities portfolio fee is charged monthly in Hong Kong dollars based on a single combination of Shanghai Stock Connect and Shenzhen Stock Connect stocks for each participant in the Central Clearing System.
