Under what circumstances will the purchase of Zhonghua Tong stocks be suspended?
Stocks on the Shanghai Stock Connect will be temporarily suspended from buying (but allowed to be sold) in the following situations:
(a) These Shanghai stocks are no longer part of the relevant index constituent stocks;
(b) These Shanghai stocks have been subject to risk warnings;
(c) The corresponding H shares of these Shanghai stocks will no longer be listed for trading on the Stock Exchange.
Stocks on the Shenzhen Stock Connect will be temporarily suspended from buying (but allowed to be sold) in the following situations:
(a) These deep stocks are no longer part of the relevant index constituent stocks;
(b) The constituent stocks of the Shenzhen Stock Index were found to have a market value of less than RMB 6 billion in regular reviews after inclusion;
(c) These deep stocks are subject to risk warnings;
(d) The corresponding H shares of these deep stocks will no longer be listed for trading on the Stock Exchange.
