China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association: Strengthen the regulation of total copper volume and import and export

On February 15th, Ge Honglin, President of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, met with Xia Nong, a first level inspector of the Industry Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, and his delegation at the association headquarters. He stated that copper is an important non-ferrous metal resource, and industry enterprises should strengthen collaboration, improve their bargaining power and discourse power in the international market, and actively go global, strengthen overseas resource exploration layout, and ensure supply chain security. I hope that with the support of the Industry Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, we can continue to promote various work in several directions, such as regulating the total amount, adjusting imports and exports, strengthening scientific and technological innovation, optimizing the national layout, and accelerating the recycling industry.
